I like to believe that there is a hero in all of us. If life is nothing more than a personal journey then what prevents us from making it into a story worth sharing?
“In the beginning…” there was you. And believe it or not, you were born into a village that is dependent on the choices you make to keep it moving through time.
Now like every great drama, or the great myths that have shaped our unique culture of today, you are destined to face monsters, challenges and undergo trials that sometimes can be insurmountable when it comes to how your character develops within the narrative about yourself.
Sometimes these monsters come in the form of psychological diseases like trauma, anxiety or depression that only grow bigger from the fear that can come from not answering the “call to action” to overcome these villains that stand in your heroes journey.
I’m here today to tell you - the would be adventurer- that I possess the map that will help guide you through the perils that await you, if you so choose, to undergo such a journey that will reveal personal treasures and wisdom that will shape your legacy forever!
As a therapeutic biographer, I work as your personal scribe that collects the story being lived as you go through the trails of your personal quest. I like to think of our sessions more like “save points” along your journey, where I collect information, provide the insightful narrative focused questions that will help you move forward in your quests. In between these “save points” I write a biography that reflects your story of growth related to your “heroes journey.” Upon graduation, I give you a physical copy of that book as a personal artifact from your personal quest.
